Charged Air Control System
The Charged Air Control System is designed to maintain and control the temperature and pressure of turbocharged air supplied to the engine, ensuring stable and controlled air conditions during engine testing.
How It Works
The system controls the temperature of the air coming from the turbocharger through calculated heat withdrawal, ensuring that the charged air is maintained at the required operating conditions.
Pressure drop across the Charged Air Cooler (CAC) is manipulated through an inbuilt control mechanism. A dedicated controller continuously monitors various system parameters and processes control commands to maintain the desired charged air conditions.
- ✓ Precise control of turbocharged air temperature
- ✓ Calculated heat withdrawal for temperature regulation
- ✓ Controlled pressure drop across the CAC
- ✓ Dedicated controller for parameter monitoring and control commands
Temperature & Pressure Control
The system provides controlled turbocharged air conditions by regulating both air temperature and pressure drop, supporting consistent and reliable engine testing.
By combining calculated heat withdrawal, an integrated CAC pressure-drop control mechanism, and dedicated process control, the Charged Air Control System delivers precise and dependable charged-air management for engine testing applications.
