Oil Conditioning System
The Oil Conditioning System is designed to maintain the temperature, pressure, and flow of engine lubricating oil at constant and desired set values, ensuring stable and reliable oil conditioning during engine testing.
How It Works
The system controls the temperature of the oil at the engine inlet, specifically at the oil sump. The lubricating oil is conditioned either by cooling or heating it to achieve the required temperature before being supplied to the engine.
The oil passes through an inline heat module and subsequently through a heat exchanger. A process controller continuously regulates the conditioning process to maintain the desired oil temperature by controlling the flow of shop water and the oil heater temperature.
- ✓ Precise oil temperature control at the engine inlet
- ✓ Controlled oil pressure and flow
- ✓ Cooling and heating for accurate temperature conditioning
- ✓ Automated control of shop water flow and oil heater temperature
Precision Oil Conditioning
The system ensures that engine lubricating oil reaches the desired temperature before entering the engine, providing consistent conditioning conditions for reliable engine testing and evaluation.
By combining an inline heat module, heat exchanger, process controller, shop water flow control, and oil heater regulation, the Oil Conditioning System delivers accurately conditioned lubricating oil to the engine at the required temperature, pressure, and flow conditions.
